Graham Fagen represents Scotland at the 56th Edition Venice Biennale which runs until 22 November 2015.
Fagen’s specially-created body of work is exhibited at Palazzo Fontana, a Venetian palace off the Grand Canal in the Cannaregio district of Venice. The complex and intriguing show involves a number of collaborations, including work with composer Sally Beamish, the musicians of the Scottish Ensemble, and reggae singer Ghetto Priest (pictured above).
Lucy Byatt of Hospitalfield Arts, who curated the exhibition, first worked with Fagen on the artist’s acclaimed public art project in Royston, Glasgow, which was the genesis of ROSE, Fagen’s multiple published by The Multiple Store in 2013.
